...At Appin
June 19 - Father's Day Communion.

June 26 - Sunday School Picnic following the service. There will be fun activities for all ages and a wonderful potluck meal after. Come and join us for a great time of traditional fellowship and fun.

June 29 - The Official Board of the Glencoe - Appin Pastoral Charge will meet in Appin at 7:30 p.m.

Coming in July - Appin United Church will be participating in the Appin Yard Sale. The church will be closed and members are invited to worship at Appin Presbyterian Church.

...At Trinity
June 17 - At 7:00 Christian Ed will present the movie "Jesus".

June 19 - Father's Day Communion.

June 22 - The Unified Board will meet at 7:45. Session and Stewards meet at 7:00 and Christian Ed and Pastoral Care meet at 7:30.

June 29 - Official Board meeting in Appin.

Coming in July - Trinity will hold a 'Rummage, Bake, and Book Sale' on the church lawn (or inside if it rains) on Saturday, July 16. The church will be closed for the month and members are welcome to worship at Glencoe Presbyterian Church.

At Trinity
June 7 - Trinity UCW Annual Summer Outing. Meet at the church at 10:45 then proceed to Sparta for lunch and a tour of the area.

June 12 at 11:00 a.m. Trinity will celebrate its 119th Anniversary with Rev. Barbara Clark preaching and special music by Dulce Jubilo. Lunch will be served following worship. Appin service will be withdrawn so that all can celebrate together.

June 15 - Get your tickets for Trinity's Roast Beef Dinner. There will be sittings at 4:30 and 6:00. Tickets are available in advance only and are $12 for adults, $6 for children 6 to 12. Under 6 eat for free.

June 22 - The Unified Board will meet at 7:45. Session and Stewards meet at 7:00 and Christian Ed and Pastoral Care meet at 7:30.

Happenings

At Appin United Church

May 1 - Session will assist the Sunday School with Earth Day celebrations. Come prepared to work outside for the morning.


At Trinity United Church

May 1 - Bidding deadline for our Silent Auction. Bring your bids in to the church during office hours or on Sundays.

May 3 - U.C.W. meeting with guest speaker. Topic - Women and War, the Other Side of the Story.

May 18 - Unified Board meeting at 7:45 p.m. Session and Stewards meet at 7:00.

New Beginnings

During the month of January we enjoyed the preaching of Greg Simpson. We wish him well in his ministry and hope that his time with us gave him some help in discerning his future in the church.

Now we welcome Rev. Barbara Clark to our pastoral charge for the next few months.
