Happy New Year!
No matter whether you began your new year with Advent, on January 1, or yesterday, the beginning of the Year of the Dragon, this is a time to celebrate. We thank God for new days and new years and the opportunities that arise within them.
This is also the season of Annual Meetings - a time to reflect on the year that has passed and prepare for the work of the church in 2012. We are invited to worship, share a meal, and make our plans together on February 5 at Appin United Church and on February 12 at Trinity United Church.
The Division of Mission in Canada is hosting a meeting on January 31 at Lucan United Church in an effort to learn ways of supporting rural communities and rural ministries in Middlesex Presbytery. Please speak to Rev. Barbara Clark if you are interested in joining this discussion.
Also at Appin
