More 'Busy-ness' of Fall

At Appin

October 23 - Join the ladies Fellowship group after the morning worship to plan projects. Refreshments provided.

November 6 - We will be celebrating the sacrament of baptism.

At Trinity

October 19 - Unified Board meeting at 7:45 p.m. Committee meetings to precede.

October 23 - 12:30 to 2:00, Thanksgiving Harvest Dinner - raising funds for Middlesex Presbytery's 'Kare for Kids' campaign, a project whose aim is to build a new Daycare Centre for children in Watville, South Africa. You will be able to sample the staple diet of these children - cornmeal porridge. A full ham dinner will also be served. Tickets are $10 and available in advance by calling 519-287-3942 or 519-287-5637.

October 26 - The first 'Soup and Sandwich Lunch' of the season. Don't miss out on this popular event

The 'Busy-ness' of Fall

At Appin

- 'Funday School' continues for the month of September at 9:45 a.m. All children are welcome to "Survival Israel' and join a Tribe of Abraham
- September 28 - Official Board meeting at Trinity at 7:30 p.m.
- October 2 - Last day of Funday School
- October 2 - Worldwide Communion is celebrated
- October 2 - Appin Cemetery Decoration Service at Appin Presbyterian Church at 2:00
- October 16 - Our 140th Anniversary. Come celebrate with us!

A reminder that the box in the vestibule needs non-perishable goods for the Food Bank


At Trinity

- September 14 - Unified Board meeting at 7:45 p.m.
- September 16 - Outdoor Games on the lawn at 7:00 p.m. hosted by the Christian Education Committee (Indoor games if the weather doesn't co-operate!)
- September 25 - Join us at the Glencoe Fair Ecumenical service at 11:00 a.m.
- September 28 - Official Board meeting at 7:30 p.m.
- October 2 - Worldwide Communion is celebrated

Midsummer

We're almost back in business at both Appin and Trinity. The Presbyterians have graciously hosted us for the month of July and we welcome them to worship with us during August.

Due to renovations at Glencoe Presbyterian Church, their worship will actually be held in Trinity United Church on Sunday, July 31.

The Glencoe - Appin Pastoral Charge office will reopen Wednesday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m.

...At Appin
The church will be closed and members are invited to worship at Appin Presbyterian Church.


July 30 - Appin United Church will be participating in the Appin Yard Sale

Coming in August - We welcome our Presbyterian neighbours to worship with us for the month.

...At Trinity
The church will be closed for the month and members are welcome to worship at Glencoe Presbyterian Church.

July 16
- Trinity will hold a 'Rummage, Bake, and Book Sale' on the church lawn (or inside if it rains)
